 ITALCANNA's commitment to research design and development of new three-piece rods capable of combining power sensitivity and easy casting.

We therefore took up the challenge of designing a rod with great casting ease despite the considerable power at the butt but with a VETTA less than 2 mm in diameter.
Not only that ... it was also capable of holding up to Ground (fishing) style casting.
With this intent after 7 prototypes, 10 months of design (which still continues for new sizes) and severe tests and efforts by our Team, the first VITIUMs were born from the Latin noun that is understood here as "vice-malady for fishing..." All models will be composed with plug-in elements through ITALCANNA's patented REW-TAPER system to guarantee stability and durability and made with at least 6 different materials mixed together including the 400Gpa high modulus. The ultra-sensitive VETTA panders to wave motion and gives greater visibility to touches and greater stability when fishing. Resins enhanced with nanocomposite fillers to improve overall composite strength. Action with precise power distribution that è has been carefully calculated using proprietary software for maximum performance in range. Rings with stainless steel frame and interior made of anti-friction and anti-wear material. This new line of 3-piece rods will include a range of models that we can distinguish into :
 
CR line (red color) The CR 150 è was the first model to be put on the market and not by chance... In fact, we wanted to put a twist on it with something innovative and very high performance. The rod comes with a total length of 4.50m; exploitable with various casting techniques, where it will express itself at its best: in side with 150g and in ground with 125g (although it also withstands 150). In above it will be ableà eventually to go as high as 175g. As you can see, this reflects ITALCANNA's new philosophy of indicating not so much the maximums (a sometimes misleading fact) but the optimal lead distinguished in the various casting types.
Excellent sensitivityà on touches and in combat with size prey thanks also to a powerful quick-loading stock. Definitely a multi-purpose rod suitable for amateur fishing and excellent for competition at the highest level. The primary characteristic of this CR150 è however, the great easeà of casting in reaching immediately and often improving their maximum range and we are not kidding ...
Version moreù challenging than the 150 è the sister CR180 with greater overall power and that consequently requires more effort in the management of the launch, bringing però the optimum to 180g in side and 150 in ground. Suitable especially for those with powerful loading of the lower parts.
