We are aware that rods are only a tool to spend a few hours of freedom on the beach, but if you like us, like to challenge the impossible, you have to take a look at the Aspide, and we are not referring to aesthetics ... | | The Aspide born upon specific request from one of our collaborators who then took care of the tests, is the latest result of our research and development team, and required several hours of design, 5 prototypes and the use of 8 different materials. The request was to be able to have a high-powered barrel capable of holding a long lever during loading to obtain high escape velocity, without, however, stiffening the tip, indeed, bringing it to an improbable slim so that during the launch completely reset, but then returned to full efficiency and sensitivity in fishing. All this without breaking, using "the best material par excellence", a small diameter, maximum possible lightness and above all the most difficult thing: to connect everything so as not to have a broken action. It is therefore based on an innovative concept, never attempted before, a new way of thinking about the fishing rod different from all our and all the other rods on the market. There are other hard rods around, but the Aspide exacerbates even more than the Vitium the concept "Hard from the sensitive Soul" which, despite the powerful lever, accompanies the bait in the initial phase.
Unpacking it empty you will not be able to understand what we are saying:
the feeling is that of a two-piece, but looking at the tip we realize that something does not come back ... (but is it a beach or surf rod? ) The final results of the project were once again exceeding expectations:
- an impressive loading speed
- instant return with very small oscillations which eliminates wigs and breaks even with very fine threads
- a rod that you push and goes, and does so with progression while being fast right away
- a range of use for the 150 model from 75 to 175g, a rod that therefore, with the exception of some specialist applications, exceeds the concept of band, ideal lead, rod from rough or calm seas.
- Center of gravity of the rod near the reel seat for optimal balance (absolute lightness does not bring advantages if the balance is bad)

For all these reasons we dared to define it the complete rod: "The Ultimate"

Shoot far? Yes a lot, adapting to the style of the pitcher
Is it expensive? Yes, but this result cannot be achieved in any other way
Did we dare too much? maybe ... but who doesn't like to dream the best possible to go further?
The first born was the MP150, with optimal lead 150g mounted with Fuji FAZLITE rings followed by model 100, screw plate, length 4.45m in three symmetrical sections.
