DAIWA BG MQ is a series of reels for spinning fishing in the sea, or in any case for important fishing, this time with a monocoque and one-piece aluminum body. Light and strong like a Formula One car! DAIWA BG MQ are lighter and stronger than the previous series thanks to the use of MQ (Monocoque) Technology of the body. In terms of application, the reels are designed for everything from inshore to heavy offshore fishing with models like the BGMQ2500D-H perfect for trout or bass fishing, through to the BGMQ5000D-H perfect for fishing for sea bass, up to BGMQ20000 designed to withstand the pressures of bluefin tuna fishing. With the monocoque design, the reel body acts as a rigid and distortion-proof frame, which is handy and compact at the same time. The reels are also characterized by an all-aluminum frame (ALUMINUM BODY) and feature DIGIGEAR technology. Compared to most of the competition, the gears are between 20% and 40% larger. The gears also feature a larger tooth pattern, which gives the gears much longer life and durability than competitive reels. Tests reveal equipment life that is one to three times the length of competitive reels. The ATD DRAG clutch uses an improved grease that maintains a low viscosity even when fighting with the grip.
